The Forgemaster primarily work with 304L Stainless Steel for its durability and strength. However, other metals like brass or anodized aluminum are occasionally used for a pop of color. The specific material type for every piece is clearly listed in the product description.

Not at all! Each individual ring is woven together using specialized pliers. Marks are a signature of hand-crafted chainmail and proof that your piece wasn't mass-produced by a machine. The Forgemaster inspects every piece to ensure those links are closed flush so they won't snag your clothes.
-
The Forgemaster takes pride in the structural integrity of each weave, but life happens! If a link jumps or a clasp breaks after our exchange window, we offer repair services for a small fee (plus shipping). Please visit the contact us page to send us a photo of the damage so the Forgemaster can provide a repair estimate.
-
Absolutely! Whether you need a bracelet shortened or a completely custom design, the Forgemaster is happy to help. Since these requests are unique to each wearer, please head over to the contact page and send a message with your ideas.

If you are within 5 miles of Downtown Seattle, you'll see a "Local Delivery" option at checkout. Once your piece is finished (5-7 days), the Forgemaster will reach out to schedule a drop-off. For security, I prefer to hand it to you directly or leave it in a secure mailroom/parcel locker rather than on a porch.
